The Vanuatu National Surfing team does a little dry-land training. Boucherie Furet very kindly allowed its parking lot to be repurposed for a day as a dry-land training ground. The team members used specially crafted skateboards designed to mimic a surfboard's feel as the trainees run the slalom course. The team, aged between 10 and 35 years old, will compete in the Melanesian Cup next month in Noumea.
